TAGES were one of the greatest Swedish bands of the '60s. In Autumn of '64 they participated in a battle of the bands called " West coast Beatles Competition"which they won.Their first 45 "Sleep Little Girl" was released in 1964 , they were all teenager (16 to 19).
It was recorded in a cellar that was usually used
for wrestling. The song went to No1 in Sweden.
They became teen idols! They started to imitate
the Beatles and other British bands but they were bouncier and cruder.They
toured all around Sweden, and everywhere they met girl riot to meet them.
