     Lords formed  as Skiffle band in 1959. And in 63 they started as a new group. The lineup was Ulli Gunther(vocals),Bernd Zamulo(Bass),Rainer Pertry(Guitar),Klaus Peter Leitz(Guitar),Peter Dontha(Drus).

     Their sound was influenced from the Beatles, Searchers and Dave Calrk Five at the time. In '64 they became No.1 band in Berlin and entered the competition at Starclub to play premiere show of Beatles movie. They won the first price. They became professional band and signed German EMI:Columbia. In 64 they released 1st single "Hey Baby ,lass den ander'n" a teeny pop sung in German Which EMI stuff insisted to them. But it failed the chart hit. They released "Shakin' all over"as 2nd single, it made  hit. They covered British beat and Skiffle with thier tough beat style.
     In September '65 Knud quite the band because of lost leg by traffic accident, and Heinz Hegemann replaced him untill Bernd Zamulo became Loads permanent bass player.
